Join Lita Lee, Ph.D. for a fascinating glimpse into the world of enzymes and hormonal balancing. Are you eating healthy foods and still not as well as you think you should be? Discover the enzyme connection to your health issues. Enzymes are as appropriate for infants as they are for the elderly and everybody in between. Don't forget your pets, because, like you, they need enzymes too.

Dr. Lee presents surprising information on how to improve your health using digestive enzymes, hormonal balancing and organic whole foods. Dr. Lee finds that enzyme nutritional deficiencies and a poor diet can lead to many of the common health issues prevalent today.

Here is a partial list of topics, as they relate to enzyme deficiencies and hormonal balancing covered in her book, The Enzyme Cure, To Your Health newsletters and in over 60 articles on this website listed alphabetically:
  • Digestive disorders -- poor digestion
  • Allergies (food and environmental)
  • Children's health issues including infant colic
  • Female problems (PMS, menopause, infertility, menstrual irregularities, etc.)
  • Male problems (benign prostatic hypertrophy)
  • Stomach problems (gastritis, ulcers, acid reflux)
  • Asthma, Bronchitis
  • Constipation, Diarrhea
  • Headaches
  • Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
  • Weight control (up or down)
  • Hypothyroidism
Dr. Lee does the Loomis 24-hour urine test developed by Dr. Howard Loomis that determines, enzyme and nutrient deficiencies, colon toxicity, electrolyte balance and more.

Her book, The Enzyme Cure, describes 50 case histories covering 36 health problems from poor digestion, poor diet and/or environmental problems and how proper nutrition, enzyme supplementation and hormonal balancing can support normal body structure and function so that self-healing occurs.

Seizures - Convulsions
By Lita Lee, Ph.D.
Causes and nutritional support for seizures
Discusses many nutritional causes of seizures and provides nutritional support for people (and animals) who have them. The two most common types of seizures that I have observed appear related to the use of NutraSweet (aspartame) and estrogen dominance. Other factors such as fluoride, excess unsaturated acids, and nutrient excesses and deficiencies are also involved. According to Dr. Peat, natural progesterone will stop a seizure, regardless of its cause. A list of causal factors including structural problems is presented.
